Yesterday the online magazine Europe&Me, which I co-edit together with other nine Europe-fanatics, was awarded with the European Charlemagne Youth Award. The prize distinguishes projects that foster a shared sense of European identity and integration among young people.
The prize arrives after four years of hard work. We are stubborn people who believe in a different Europe, far beyond the political organisms in Brussels. E&M wants to make Europe personal, and it seems the message has caught on young people of our continent –E&M has over 20,000 monthly readers. E&M responds to our shared understanding of Europe as abroad network of youngsters who share interests and who treasure the richness of the different European cultures.
